Who is BetVictor?

BetVictor, formerly known as Victor Chandler, is one of the UK’s most prominent online bookmakers.

Founded in 1946 by William Chandler, the current chairman’s grandfather, BetVictor offers online sports bookmaking, casino, poker and bingo to more than half a million customers in more than 160 different countries.

BetVictor also has a small presence on the UK high street, with shops in Mayfair, London, Dublin and Scotland.

The company is noted for being the first bookmaker in the UK to relocate their entire operations to Gibraltar – a move that was made in 1998 in an attempt to avoid UK gambling taxation regulations.

How easy to use is BetVictor.com?

The most striking aspect of BetVictor.com is the prominent placement of the day’s key markets and offers. A large scrolling banner details the day’s biggest fixtures as well as any promotions that are active that day.

Below that banner is a list active ‘in-play’ markets at that time. These are categorised by sport and offer easy access to current in-play events.

The left hand side features the main navigation, with prominent events (at the time of writing, the Premier League and Cheltenham), as well as other tactical markets (such as both teams to score, promotions and ‘bankers’). The major sports are listed below, with racing, football, tennis and darts prominent, followed by an A-Z listing of sports.

Placing a selection into your betting slip is easily done, simply by clicking on the odds next to your selection.
