Things haven’t been going too well for the Robins in recent weeks and they now find themselves in the bottom three of the Championship following some pretty dismal results of late. The goal-less draw at home to fellow strugglers Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon extended Bristol City’s winless run to six games and they desperately need to start getting some wins on the board. The Robins have collected just three points out of a possible eighteen as we head into Tuesday evening’s encounter and we’re firmly of the opinion that they won’t be adding to that when the Canaries visit Ashton Gate.
Alex Neil’s Norwich City are flying high in the Championship and whilst some nine points remain between themselves and a place in the top-six, they can go some way towards reducing that gap by securing the all-important victory on Tuesday. Nevertheless Neil will still be smarting from his side’s 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend and it must be said that Norwich’s form away from Carrow Road leaves a lot to be desired. Indeed the Canaries have managed just a single victory on the road since the start of October and they will certainly be made to work hard for their three points by a desperate Bristol City side.
That said, the Robins have been pretty abysmal at Ashton Gate over the past few months with their only home win since the start of December coming against rock-bottom side Rotherham United. Norwich may struggle with home-sickness but we feel that they will overcome that with relative ease on Tuesday evening.
