This match has suddenly become a real toughie to call. Craig Shakespeare’s Foxes have opened up an eight point gap between themselves and the bottom three in the Premier League thanks to an excellent winning streak and despite losing 4-2 at Goodison Park last weekend, they are now effectively clear of danger as far as dropping to the Championship is concerned.
The East Midlands side have also impressed in this season’s Champions League and far from being annihilated by Atletico Madrid in last night’s quarter-final first leg as many predicted, they performed admirably with just an Antoine Griezmann penalty separating the sides at the final whistle.
Crystal Palace have also produced some pretty astonishing performances, at least by their own relatively modest standards. The Eagles’ 3-0 victory over Arsenal on Monday evening extended their winning run to five in six outings. This run included a shock 2-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the start of April and suddenly the south London outfit look far removed from relegation candidates.
This is a match which really could go either way and as such we suggest completely ignoring the Match Betting market and going instead on Both Teams to Score. Palace haven’t been shy in front of goal of late and Leicester have been banging them in with reckless abandon, therefore expect to see both nets bulging at Selhurst Park this weekend.
