The FA Cup final is traditionally the showpiece match at the end of the domestic season, with Manchester United and Chelsea clashing in what looks to be an attractive tussle.
However, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte won’t be urging their team to operate in an expansive way considering what’s at stake at Wembley, with the latter looking set to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Conte won the Premier League title in his first season at the club and will be desperate to sign off with the FA Cup, especially considering the Blues failed to qualify for the Champions League this term.
Mourinho is a serial trophy winner and we can expect no quarter given from a Manchester United side who produced the goods to defeat Tottenham in the semi-finals.
It’s likely to be a defensive approach from the Red Devils who will look to kill the game along the way and we could see this match going further than the ninety minutes.
Romelu Lukaku could well miss the showdown and that is why we’re leaning towards No Goalscorer too.
