Fulham are on a bit of a roll at the moment with just two points dropped in their last five Championship outings and a full-house at Craven Cottage on Tuesday evening will see the home side test promotion-candidates Leeds United to the limit. Slaviša Jokanović’s men have won their last four Championship games at Craven Cottage and their west London home has become something of a fortress this season, especially of late. The Cottagers’ last outing saw the hosts thrash Preston North End to the tune of 3-1 and we believe that it will be two on the bounce for the hosts when high-flying Leeds United come to town this week.
Garry Monk’s side have graced the play-off places for much of the campaign, however they certainly haven’t had things all their own way and whilst they head into this match on the back of an excellent 3-1 win at St Andrews, they have been something of a mixed bag away from the comforts of Elland Road.
The Whites have won just once in their last five Championship games on the road and this was against struggling Blackburn Rovers. They suffered the embarrassment of being knocked out of the FA Cup by National League side Sutton United at Gander Green Lane and we expect this dismal away record to continue when they travel to west London on Tuesday evening.
Monk’s men are adept at finding the back of the net however and an away goal will likely give the visiting fans something to cheer, however United’s woes away from look set to continue on Tuesday evening as any slim automatic promotion hopes slowly evaporate.
