Brighton & Hove Albion's shock 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the weekend gave Huddersfield Town a chance to narrow the gap between themselves and the top-two in the Championship, however they squandered that chance by losing 3-1 at home to Newcastle United.

Can David Wagner's men bounce back by collecting maximum points against Aston Villa on Tuesday evening? We firmly believe so. The Terriers were the in-form side in the Championship prior to their weekend defeat and we see no reason to believe that they won't bounce back in emphatic fashion on Tuesday against a Villa side which have disappointed this season.

The Villans were moving dangerously close to the Championship relegation zone only a few short weeks ago, however three successive wins against Derby County, Bristol City and Rotherham United would suggest that the West Midlands outfit have turned a corner. These wins have moved Steve Bruce's men into a relatively comfortable mid-table position and given that eleven points separate them from the bottom three, they can now breathe a collective sigh of relief that they are effectively safe from the threat of relegation.

A corner may have been turned, however the Villans aren't likely to threaten the play-off places and they will certainly have their work cut-out on Tuesday evening. Huddersfield Town are firm favourites to collect the three points and rightly so, given their recent form. Nevertheless at 21/20 there is value to be had in backing the home side although we'll also be backing the Villans to get onto the scoresheet. Steve Bruce's men have scored in all but two of their last seven outings and they should have few problems finding a way through a Huddersfield defence which have managed just two clean sheets in nine outings.
