Brendan Rodgers has enjoyed a record-breaking first season in charge of the Hoops and whilst his side already have the Scottish Premiership title in the bag, he will be looking for a few more goals before the end of the campaign. Rodgers will have his eye on completing the season with no league defeats (they have drawn three and won 29) and he will also be eager to smash through the 100-point barrier before the close of play.
The Hoops have dropped just six points from a possible 96 this season and they should manage three more when they make the journey up to Dingwall this weekend. Ross County will be finishing what has been a disappointing season in the bottom half of the table following some dismal form which has seen the side manage just a single win in their last eleven league outings. Despite having managed four points from their last two matches, few will expect the Highlanders to manage anything for their troubles at lunchtime on Sunday.
Indeed Ross have failed to even find the net in their last two meetings with the champions, Celtic storming to a 4-0 win in Dingwall last October and following this with a 2-0 victory at Celtic Park, therefore we wouldn’t be shocked to see an away win with the visitors keeping a clean sheet along the way.
The Hoops have banged in 85 league goals this season and man enjoying the purple patch in the scoring charts is Scott Sinclair, the former Aston Villa man finding the net in each of his last three outings. With twenty league goals in his pocket this season, we’ll be backing him to add to this tally at Dingwall this weekend.
