The Scottish Premiership has an air of familiarity about it at the moment with Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops sitting five points clear at the top of the pile and Aberdeen in second place following their recent stumbles. Hibernian and Rangers make up the rest of the top four with Motherwell close behind. We’re not expecting many changes to this set-up at the weekend although with Celtic and Motherwell fighting it out in the Scottish Cup Final on Sunday, the Dons have a chance to narrow the gap on the league leaders assuming that they collect all three points at Rugby Park this weekend.

The weekend action gets underway at Dens Park on Friday evening with visitors Rangers desperate to get back to winning ways following their dismal 2-0 home defeat to Hamilton Academical last weekend. The Accies have another stern test ahead of them when they welcome Hibernian to New Douglas Park on Saturday afternoon while the only other match on Saturday takes place at Tynecastle where Heart of Midlothian face Ross County in what should prove a closely-fought affair.

Sunday afternoon’s action is confined to Kilmarnock v Aberdeen at Rugby Park, however who will be the winners and losers in the weekend Scottish Premiership action? Here’s what we think…
