Slavia Prague have been enjoying some excellent results of late with their pre-season campaign seeing them embark upon a seven-game unbeaten run and they will be brimming with confidence ahead of this week's Champions League qualifier first-leg clash with BATE Borisov. The Czech side head into this game on the back of victories over West Bromwich Albion and Nice, therefore we have little hesitation in predicting that they will extend this winning run when they lock horns with Borisov on Tuesday evening.
The hosts have been pretty solid in defence but they have been at their best in the final third with eleven goals scored in their last five competitive outings. Visitors BATE Borisov will have a tough task in keeping them at bay and the home support should see their team earn a valuable advantage ahead of the second leg in Belarus.
The visitors have been pretty decent of late but they found the going tough against Alashkert in the previous qualifying round, the side only managing a 1-1 draw on home turf before winning 3-1 in the away leg. Slavia Prague will almost certainly prove more of a handful for the visitors and we expect one-way traffic for much of the game.
Nevertheless neither of these sides have been slouches on the goalscoring front of late and we'll be expecting both nets to be bulging on Tuesday evening. Over 2.5 goals appears pretty generously priced at odds of Evens, however couple this with a home win and you can grab yourself an excellent 6/4 with Ladbrokes.
