The Hammers have been enduring an utterly dismal season so far and they sit dangerously close to the relegation zone as things stand. With five points between themselves and the bottom three, they could easily become embroiled in a battle against the drop over the coming weeks and as such a win over Swansea City on Saturday is an absolute necessity.
West Ham’s disappointing run of form continued on Wednesday evening when Slaven Bilic’s men slumped to a 3-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and this result made it five back-to-back defeats for the Hammers. Indeed the East Londoners are now winless in their previous seven outings although they will be confident of collecting three points from a Swansea City outfit which have fallen back into the bottom three following some poor recent results.
The Swans have managed just a single point from their last four Premier League games with defeats to Hull City, Bournemouth and Spurs as well as a draw with Middlesbrough. Whilst we have little confidence with West Ham United in this match, we have even less confidence in the visitors to the London Stadium and as such we’ll be avoiding the outright winner market completely.
Instead we’ll be backing both sides to find the back of the net on Saturday afternoon given that West Ham and Swansea have been struggling for clean sheets in recent months.
