The Premier League title race is pretty much out of Tottenham Hotspur’s hands. The North London side may be enjoying some blistering form at the moment but they remain some four points behind the Blues and with just four games remaining time is fast running out.
We don’t expect Spurs to slip-up in their pursuit of Antonio Conte’s men, however Chelsea don’t look likely to stumble before the end of the season either. The Blues may have lost to both Manchester United and Crystal Palace in recent weeks but they bounced back to thrash Tottenham, Southampton and Everton in their last three outings and we don’t envisage Pochettino’s men narrowing the gap this coming weekend.
Nevertheless Tottenham Hotspur should have little trouble on Friday evening in brushing aside a West Ham outfit which have only managed a single win in their last eleven outings. The Hammers sit some seven points above the relegation zone and whilst this should be sufficient to ensure their continued survival in the Premier League, there is still no room for complacency.
Indeed defeat for the Hammers on Friday evening could possibly send them further towards the danger zone this weekend depending on other results, however this is exactly what we envisage happening. Slaven Bilic’s side have been pretty woeful of late with their only win since February coming against struggling Swansea City. There is no way that we can back them to collect any points from Friday evening’s clash with Spurs and the visitors to East London are well priced at 6/4 to collect all three points and keep a clean sheet against a West Ham outfit which haven’t found the net in their last two outings.
