Who is the Next Juventus Manager Favourite?
Zinedine Zidane is clear favourite with the bookies for the Juventus Manager position. The Frenchman truly exceeded expectations at the Santiago Bernabeu, although the former World Player of the Year is stepping down after previously returning in 2019 to enjoy a second stint at this famous club. Paddy Power make him a solid favourite to take over from the struggling Andrea Pirlo.
It’s entirely plausible that Juventus might look to him in order to bounce back from an underwhelming season, with the former midfielder having previously turned out for the Old Lady and he enjoyed two Scudettos with the Turin club as a player, giving him legendary status.
Zidane has proved adept at working with world-leading players including Cristiano Ronaldo, with the 48-year-old having also guided Real Madrid to three Champions League successes and he’s regarded as a world-leading manager who might relish the chance to resurrect the fortunes of an ailing club.

Max Allegri Could Be Waiting in the Wings to Return
Massimiliano Allegri has been out of managerial action since the end of the 2018/19 season when the Italian decided to call time on his highly successful stint at Juventus and currently is second-favourite with Betfair for a potential return. The now 53-year-old engineered an incredible five successive Serie A titles between 2015 and 2019, so he knows what it takes to win in Italy.
Allegri has been linked to a number of vacant and non-vacant positions since deciding to take a step back from football management although some facts are clear. The former AC Milan boss has never taken charge of a club outside his native Italy, with Juventus likely to make contact and see where the land lies between them.
After all, Zinedine Zidane returned to Real Madrid to pick up the pieces after Julen Lopetegui and it might be that Juve feel that they need Allegri to calm the waters considering that Pirlo has found life tough when thrown in the deep end at the Italian giant.

Is Diego Simeone Ready for a New Challenge?
Nobody can deny that Diego Simeone is one of the leading club managers in the world and the Argentine is a massive legend at Atletico Madrid considering that he has had the team competing hard with Barcelona and Real Madrid for countless years, with the former on the verge of landing the La Liga title this season.
Simeone has been in charge of Atletico since 2011 and he guided the club to a league title success during the 2013/14 season, while he is close to achieving the same thing during the current campaign, they were also finalists in the Champions League at the end of the 2013/14 and 2015/16 seasons.
It might be that Simeone becomes a one-club manager and the Argentine has a massive bond with the passionate fanbase at the Wanda Metropolitano who will be returning in their swathes. However, the 51-year-old might feel as though he’s ready to test himself in another competitive European domestic league and they don’t come much bigger than Juventus.

Could Simone Inzaghi Make the Step Up From Lazio?
The current manager of Lazio has been heavily linked to the vacant post at Tottenham Hotspur although it might be that the Italian doesn’t want to make the move to England and his achievements at the Stadio Olimpico will not have gone unnoticed by the powers-that-be at Juventus who might want him to replace Andrea Pirlo.
Inzaghi has impressed with Lazio considering the fairly modest resources at his disposal compared to some of the bigger clubs in Italy, with the 45-year-old having been part of the coaching staff at the Italian capital club since 2010 and there could be some merit in encouraging him to lay the foundations for a potentially bright future at Juve.
Inzaghi is expected to hold contract talks with Lazio at the end of the 2020/21 season, although he has also talked about his personal ambition and that might see him leave Rome in order to further his managerial career, with Juventus an obvious fit for someone who wants to play attacking football.

Fabio Cannavaro Could Be a Left Field Pick at Juventus
It is clear that Juventus hold plenty of stock with hiring ex-playing legends after their recruitment of Andrea Pirlo and it could be that they take a punt on Fabio Cannavaro who has publicly declared an interest in returning to Italy and taking charge at the Old Lady.
Cannavaro is one of the most decorated players in Serie A history, turning out for the Azzurri on 136 occasions and the 47-year-old has enjoyed a number of overseas managerial assignments which recently saw him take charge of the Chinese national team after previously coaching in the Chinese Super League.
Cannavaro told Il Bianconero: “If a call arrives in Italy I will be ready. Pirlo’s choice was very right, who wouldn’t have accepted? They focused on the championship with a coach who knows the Italian teams well and who has proved his worth once again."
