Tip 1 - 12.30 Bangor - Madera Mist

The Tim Vaughan team have found a suitable opportunity for Madera Mist to open her account under rules in the first race on the Bangor card having given her time and experience to date so far and that can pay off in a weak looking class 5 affair.

This intermediate trip looks ideal to start off with and with the ground not likely to ride in the extreme then Alan Johns should be able to make plenty of use of Madera Mist and hold off some more exposed and mostly disappointing rivals.

Tip 2 - 12.50 Chepstow - Sizeable Sam

The very well named Sizeable Sam hasn't been missed in the market for this hurdles debut and this giant son of Black Sam Bellamy has been found a good opportunity to get off the mark at the first time of asking for the Jeremy Scott team and jockey Nick Schofield. Showed tons of promise in two bumpers last term and out side of the big yards this season Sizeable Sam is a name to watch for the classier novice hurdles as the season progresses.

Nicky Henderson lines up Grand Mogul and Evan Williams has PtP recruit Only The Bold to test the favorites credentials and that makes for an honest test where every yard of the 2m 3 and a half furlongs will suit and further in time for sure.

Tip 3 - 13.30 Bangor - Miss Amelia

This looks a trappy handicap on Tuesday, but this can go the way of Miss Amelia for Johnny Ward and Mark Walford. This consistent 7YO is definitely still well handicapped off 92 and boasts course and distance winning form when winning here in December 2019.

The going won't be any issues and she has every chance of taking this contest. She should improve greatly for a good showing last time at Hexham, when a close 3rd off a 228 days break. She will have needed that run and should strip a lot fitter on this occasion.

Tip 4 - 14.20 Chepstow - Zarafshan

Quite a hot handicap here for this level and this can go to Zarafshan for Adam Wedge and Emma Lavelle. Zarafshan was purchased from Ireland where he had shown himself to be a decent flat horse, without getting his head in front having reached a mark of 72 for Dermot Weld.

He should definitely be winning races now off his current mark of 117, and his last run at Ludlow in which he was a decent 3rd was franked quite strongly by the winner, Does He Know, who won very well at Cheltenham last weekend. He is improving with each run and can make his mark today.
